Course Appetizer
Cuisine American
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 12 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 tsp seasoned salt (like Lawry's)
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ cup scallions, chopped
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Set the cream cheese out to warm
Cook the bacon if not using bacon crumbles. Set aside to cool, then crumble into small pieces.
Dice the tomatoes (if you're using large tomatoes, I recommend de-seeding so they don't add too much moisture).Dice the scallions. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and onion powder and mix until creamy. You may want to use an electric hand mixer.
Carefully fold in the bacon, scallions, and tomatoes.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for the flavors to mix before serving. We love to serve this with potato chips!
